About Project Brew

Project Brew is a student-run beer festival showcasing the graduation projects of the Niagara College Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program. Join us this winter and treat yourself to 15 student-crafted brews from the graduating class of the December 2025 Brewmaster term.

Matt Soos Memorial Scholarship

All proceeds from Project Brew will benefit the Matt Soos Memorial Scholarship. You can make a difference by donating directly through the ticket purchasing link or at the event itself. Matt Soos graduated from the Brewmaster program in 2015, but sadly passed away only a few months after graduation. Muskoka Brewery (where Matt was working at the time of his passing) and Railway City Brewing (where Matt worked for several summers) generously donated money to Niagara College in order to setup the Matt Soos Memorial Fund, which awards a scholarship to the student who brews the best beer in the Niagara College Annual Project Brew Competition each term. Please join us for a special night to celebrate the hard work of our graduating class of December 2025!
